Technical and operational framework
Historic and specialised radio equipment for scenic or controlled functional use.
The historic part of the catalogue includes amateur-radio equipment, antennas and various radio-technical items that can serve as scenic or functional props. Current availability is checked for each project.
Older or specialised radio platforms can be useful to film and television productions when a visually authentic device is required.
Selection depends on the period, scene and required authenticity. Equipment from an operational system is not used without prior agreement.
The production team should define whether the device only needs to look appropriate or must also operate in a legal, controlled radio configuration.
